Influenza A and B
Recording results
Certain devices test for COVID-19, influenza A, and influenza B (“multiplex devices”). SimpleReport requires you to include flu results when you record tests from these devices. At this time, you can share flu results with patients, but they will not be reported to public health departments, other than the ones in states listed below.
To record flu results on SimpleReport, conduct and submit a test as you normally would. You’ll be able to enter results for flu A and flu B, along with COVID-19, when you select a multiplex device.
Reporting results
Organizations can use SimpleReport to report positive flu results to the following state health departments:

You can also report flu results through the conduct tests workflow by using any multiplex device, or the flu-only devices listed below. If you use an RSV-only testing device, please send information about it to support@simplereport.gov.
